Our business
Engel & Völkers first took root in our fertile South African
soil in 2000 with the establishment of a license in Cape Town under Christian
Völkers. In 2002 the roll out into the rest of the country commenced
under Niël Cronje and Mathias Bode, resulting in the establishment
of two master licenses in the country one denoting the Western Cape (Engel
& Völkers Western Cape) and the other covering the rest of South
Africa (Engel & Völkers South Africa) which falls under CEO Niël
Cronje.
The headquarters of Engel & Völkers South Africa is proudly
nestled in the heart of Pretoria. In a very short space of time Engel
& Völkers grew to 47 shops, 2 commercial licenses, 5 rental divisions,

of slowing down.
